Through my art I seek to find
places of stillness and unfolding possibilities. As our institutions and old ways of doing things stutter and crumble, I am
drawn to nature to appreciate the continual endings, the in-between places and the new beginnings. Living at the edge
of the Pacific allows me to experience the edges, the transition zones, the places in nature where change is continually visible.
I am interested in how the arts can
help us cultivate understanding and learning as fellow travelers in this wondrous universe. My intention is to create artwork
that calms the mind and invites the imagination to contemplate new possibilities.
